Book the job in HireHop. HireCheck builds the hire order, your driver inspects the machine, the customer signs once, and you keep one signed PDF with your terms attached.
No credit card needed. The HireHop connection is in early access.
When a job is booked in HireHop, HireCheck creates the hire order on its own. It takes the customer name, email and hire dates, and matches each machine on the job by barcode. Nobody retypes anything.
If the job changes in HireHop, HireCheck updates the same order. It never creates a second one, and a machine taken off the job comes off the order. Changes usually show within a minute, and HireCheck re-checks your recent and upcoming jobs every 15 minutes as a safety net.
The sync only reads from HireHop. It does not change your jobs, prices or invoices.
Stops from the HireHop route planner appear in My Deliveries for the driver mapped to that route. You set the mapping once under Staff Users.
The driver taps Check out on a delivery or Check in on a collection, then inspects each machine on the job. Mark started and Mark done update the stop in HireHop.
A job with two excavators and a trailer does not need three signatures. The customer signs once on the driver's phone for everything on the order.
HireCheck then makes one signed PDF with every machine's condition, the timestamp and signature, and your hire terms and conditions on the pages after it. You upload your terms once as a PDF. The customer agrees to the terms with the same signature as the condition report.
The signed PDF has its own link that needs no login, so your office can paste it into the HireHop job or an email. Anyone with the link can read the record, so only share it with people who should see it.
Every inspection carries timestamped photos and GPS location. Drivers can circle damage on a photo with a finger, and HireCheck keeps the untouched original next to the marked copy. If a hirer disputes damage on return, one click builds a claim pack with the hire out and return photos side by side and both signatures.
Deliveries go to building sites and farms, which is where reception disappears. With no signal, HireCheck saves the inspection, photos, customer signature and stop status on the phone and uploads them when signal returns. The record shows the time the check was done, not the time it uploaded.
Open HireCheck once with signal before leaving the yard, so the phone has your equipment list, checklist and upcoming deliveries saved.
I'm happy to do this with you on a call. I built the connection and tested it on live jobs with a UK plant hire company, so I know where the snags are.
HireCheck works on its own too. Every machine gets its own condition report link, and HireHop lets you add a custom field to each asset. Paste the link into that field and it can print on your hire documents. This needs a paid HireHop plan for the document template step, and the guide walks you through it.
No. The job sync only reads from HireHop. The one thing that goes back is the status of a delivery or collection when a driver marks it started or done.
By barcode. The barcode on the HireHop item must equal the machine's identifier in HireCheck exactly, or its serial number. There is no partial matching, so 05 never matches 058.
HireCheck creates the order with the machines it can match and leaves the rest off. Fix the identifier in HireCheck, then press Sync this job or wait for the next change to the job.
The HireHop connection and hire orders are on the Pro and Business plans. See the pricing section for the current prices.
Logging in, seeing a delivery added after the phone last had signal, opening a signed PDF, and changes such as adding equipment or editing settings.
No. HireCheck works with any booking system, or none. Booqable users can add condition report links to their contracts, covered on the Booqable page.
Set up a few machines, run a test inspection on your phone, and see the signed PDF your customers would get.
